Marchand McCauley

Head Coach

Marchand joined the Desert Mountain Cheer Family in 2022. She brings over ten years' experience as a cheerleading athlete and over five years' experience as a varsity high school cheer coach.

​She comes to Arizona from Washington state, where she served as Head Varsity Competition Cheer Coach at Walla Walla High School and Assistant Varsity Competition Cheer Coach for Bellevue High School. She led her teams to State Cheerleading Championships, UCA Nationals, and USA Nationals Competitions.

Marchand has extensive experience creating high-level, State- and Nationals-qualifying competition routines that incorporate advanced stunting techniques. She believes in creating a fun team environment for athletes to learn while staying focused on "Getting the job done!"

Marchand is also a Beauty Industry professional with over twelve years' experience and has owned her own successful business for seven years.

Jason Jenkins

​Assistant Varsity Cheer Coach

Jason brings 10 years of experience as a cheerleading athlete and over 16 years of experience as a high school cheer coach.

Jason comes to Arizona from Virginia. Naturally a football player, he found his passion for cheer during his sophomore year. Jason was a member of a highly competitive and dominating program, winning a total of 11 championships, various leadership awards, and All-American honors. His background in cheer continued with cheering at Virginia Tech and All-Star Cheer.

Coach Jenkins knows what it takes to become successful. He brings enthusiasm and energy, and he sets the standard for his athletes to 
foster a winning attitude. 
He enjoys helping athletes develop physically and mentally, and he will instill in our team a true enjoyment and passion for high-level high school cheerleading.
